What's happening in compo land?

I know no news is good news but I still would like a run down on the field.

Any voting opportunities?

The judging will be done by Craigix and Guyfawkes, so no, there won't be any voting opportunities. And it'll only take them longer to release the results if we keep asking them if they've done it yet! ;) Have patience - I doubt it'll take all that long.

why will it take them longer, you assume that they'll reply?

That's right, all we can really do is wait now. It'll all depend on how many entries there were.

*crosses fingers and waits*

Either way, nothing is released any faster.

I Didn't ask for a release.

This is a discussion forum, so why not discuss.

Let the entrants declare what they have submitted or if Craig and GuyFawkes have time a run down or teaser

It would be interesting rather then a dead board with no commentary on interesting events.

IMNSHO

Entries should be online in a day or two. There is over 20 entries and close to 100MB in total file size (zipped) so get your SD cards ready :)

god damn it, don't put a GP2x compo thread in the GP32 general talk. I thought there was a compo for the GP32 and new stuff for the GP32 but there's not.

Fricking post in the right sections.

Thanks Guyfawkes,

20 games, nice! :)

Heres to hoping for some crazy good ones, or even just ordinary good ones.

Couldn't they just give us a list of what was entered even if not ready to download?

I'm just hoping for a few nice things to play on the GP2X which can make me enjoy it and forget about the stick, I hope all the entries have paid attention to DaveC's research and tried some sneaky biasing tricks...

I could only talk about my entry...

It should easy some of your whingeing (or make it worse - I don't know). :p

(nope - it's not any snes emulator however it's about a thing what it was discussed in a connection to some snes emulating problems)

I think it's the Xynth window manager, which was discussed somewhere in the dev forum. It looks kinda neat but I haven't gotten around to trying it yet because it doesn't seem very practical or useful at the moment.
