I'm just interested in where everybody has bought their GP32's - I live in Manchester, so I have to pay 17.5% tax. This isn't really too good on sites like gbax.com where the initial cost for the console and the smc is about £125, then I have to pay an additional £25 for the game! Is there any way at all i can avoid this? Also, I would like to know would it be worthwhile investing an extra £30 just for a backlight? (i.e is the one without a light bright enough to see without straining your eyes and having a 300W halogen lamp lingering over your head? )

got my FLU at play-asia.com along with a card reader and a 128mb card. if you plan to play your gamepark in ANY low light situation you should really think about getting the front light. the whole "£25 for the game!" thing isnt really true. there are plenty of free home brew games that are much better than most commercial games. and plenty of emulation going on too :D

I got my FLU from www.lik-sang.com. I'm living in Norway, and the taxes on everything are 24%(!). But something went "wrong", I didnt pay any taxes at all! :)

GBAX here - Got it when getting stuff for my (Hush - GBA) and thought it was a good deal - Damn quick at delivering too!... :D

I got the FLU version of the GP32 as I already had the normal GBA, and then gave that away to get the GBA SP which has an internal light... The light in the GP32 makes all the difference as anyone will tell you if they use it, and then turn the light off! B)

In my opinion, it's well worth the extra to get the FLU version - And if you read some of the other posts here, people have sold their original version to get the new version with the light...

But I believe there is a short of stock of those at the moment, so it might be difficult to get hold of one... Of course, if anyone finds a place that is stocking the FLU, be sure to mention it here for the rest of us! :)

i got my non-flu at lik-sang with one game, then a 128mb card + her knights at entware.

I got a flu at Play-Asia w/128 smc, Her Knights

Plus i heard theres a shortage on flu's if you want one(and believe me its the better than no light version) get one before they run out.!!!!!

I got mine at play-asia also. They are great received mine in about 5 days and yes you should definitely get the flu gp32.I am glad i spent a little extra for the gp32 with light.

I got my GP32FLU, 128mb SMC, and carrying case all from Play-Asia. I chose the fastest shipping and it arrived in 3 days! I had to pay no custom fees.
