I just don't understand why it works at times and doesn't work most of the times. It doesn't make any sense to me. Anybody has a good explanation of this other than this is a beta. Why does it work when it works?

... I should move this to the Help section, but I don't know if you actually need help or not ...

* waits awhile *

Maybe he is actually talking about his pet emu.
Maybe you are working it too hard and now it's gone on strike. After all it is a beta.

Squidgesnes was the emu I was referring to. I thought I posted this message in squidgesnes emu related thread. I have squidesnes .35 version and my gp32x is 1.4. I just don't get why it works when it works.

Could you be less specific? I can't process all that information <_<

(moving to the help section, 'cause you need it!)

What games are you trying?
How is it 'not working'? Error messages? What's on the screen?

Have you tried the CloneKeen trick? If it works after you have used other applications, then that is probably the problem... on some GP2X's it only works after CloneKeen (or likely any SDL app with sound) has been run.

It doesn't work on any given game at time. But at time it works on any game I choose. Let's just pick super mario all star for the sake of argument. I would play that on the train. I shut it off and come back home and try it again... doesn't work. Maybe an hour later... it's working again. The system/emu, not sure which one but maybe both, picks and chooses when it wants to load the game. Loading the emu isn't a problem. Loading the game is. When it doesn't load, I just get this black screen and I would have to shut off and restart the system. There's no error message or anything. There's the black screen and that's it. I can't get out of it by pressing start and select. I'm not familiar with clonekeen trick. I'll find out.
