All in the subject really, I know of GP2X.com, but noticed Lik-Sang sell it for around £100 (bit cheaper). Are there any other places they can be bought for delivery in the UK?

The only problem with GBax is that they will not service the unit if it bricks. If you've been reading my threads regarding my issue, then you've seen my dilenma. They referred me to gp2x.de/shop/index.php and told me to ask a gentleman by the name of Evil Dragon. If you buy from a place I would suggest that they have some kind of assistance plan with the unit.

It's just a suggestion.... Good luck.

They serviced my brick. It was a very pleasurable experience through and through.

May sound noobish, but what is "bricking"? Is that simply a mis-flash issue? Also, is it worth buying from Liksang (they're selling it £30 cheaper).

I got my Gp2X from Lik-sang. It's okay but keep in mind that many countries (like mine) will charge you extra custom taxes for this overseas shipment.
I had to pay them something like 20% of the price.
And if you have a problem with your unit, you'll have to send it back to HK.

Where were you getting it delivered? I've ordered it via Lik-Sang (by Paypal) and it should be delivered by DHL within 3 days. How do you pay if you have to pay for customs taxes?

Just to confirm what you are saying, I sent my salesrep at GBAX another email today. I mean they sold me the unit only last week, so I figured I'd give it another shot. Her answer is below:

Hi Julio,

Debs is tech and the information she has given you is correct. We do
not reflash the consoles that is the reason you were given the previous
information.

Kind regards
Jacquelyn

anymore? Id like to have you guys do it.

So no. It's final, GBAX will not reflash a messed up GP2X.
Sorry.
