Anyone Received Their Email Confirmation Yet?

Mine was 26/04

Just called gp2x.co.uk there and got through to that lovely woman again (great phone voice ;) ) where I got told that there was a good chance that my order will go through today, tomorrow at the latest. This was mainly due to their servers all going down - as we all know.

So fingers crossed for an email when I get home :)

One of my friends who ordered their GP2X only last week just got his confirmation email that his is on its way.

I ordered mine more than a week before his and I am still waiting on my email? :(

Aren't the pre-orders prioritised?

I'm still waiting for a confirmation email myself. Only ordered the unit a week ago though. Was looking forward to messing with it tonight. Ah well, may as well pop down the pub after work rather than rushing home. I'm confident it will arrive sometime this week..hopefully

That's a shame, Ubersnug. I guess that they are prioritised, but an order a week ago will have the same priority as one in the last few days. Which suggests that the older orders are now all shipped out, and your gp2x will be with you in the next couple of days.

Ach, Im sorry if I'm sounding like a baby throwing its toys out of the pram but I always get this excited before I get a new console/handheld and I have been kind of hoping that I was going to have it early last week, so I have been getting my hopes up each day that the email was going to be waiting on me each day after work only to be met with dissapointment.

You would think at 25 yrs old I would have grown up enough not to get excited over something like this

Still can't help feeling a wee bit dissapointed each day when I haven't gotten my email though.

That's ok. I'm 34 and I still feel the same way. Hopefully they'll send mine in the next day or two as well ;)

I know the feeling! Once it's got the stage where something's 'nearly here', I'm exactly the same! Get yourself the frontend for gngeo2x downloaded and ready (plus all the necessary bios files!) :)

It's from Ghouls 'n' Ghosts - the Arcade version. I haven't played the Amiga version, I'll definitely give it a go. I'm a fan of the PCEngine version, although unfortunately the only emulator I've found that can run it is MagicEngine for the PC.

Order mine on the 16th which seems so long ago now, told on the phone it would ship on the 18th, then email said 19th or 22nd.. now nothing.. no emails or gp2x.. I know they are busy but damn it.. I want it.. :)

Far more organised than me! I was amending cfg files on gngeo2x, until I found the rage frontend to do it for me!
