Recommend Me Some Music

--Just very good music :) --
Tokio Hotel, maybe... (if you like to try German music)
I know that line is just unnecessary spam, but WTF?

Some good, less-known rock/hard-rock/blues-rock/metal bands:

Silvertide (!)
The Raconteurs
Peter Pan Speedrock
Eric Sardinas
ZZ Top
Saian Supa Crew ( Not rock, but saw them live last weekend.. Hot stuff! )
Nashville Pussy
The Blues Brothers ( ;) If you like the movie or not, the soundtrack of it is pure style! )
Jonny Lang
Clawfinger
Soil

These are some bands that have nothing to do with each other that I like. Some are kind of funny, though. No laughing.

The Crystal Method
DJ Tiesto
The Prodigy
The Chemical Brothers
Saian Supa Crew
Серега (Serega)
Rush
Duran Duran
Depeche Mode

last.fm is truly excellent! I'll stick my page up, but I haven't set it up again on my new lappy so it's a bit out etc...

last.fm

I think I like electronica the best.

Try some Eisbrecher then. They catergorize themselves as "Electronic Trip Rock", it's a little on the metal side of things, but it's really good.

This MySpace site has four of their songs on it, I'm not sure if it's their official myspace, but it is accurate.

If you would like to hear any of their other songs, PM me, I have their CD and I could upload one or two to my file host (shh - keep it quiet).

At a local open-air festival.

Electronica:

Orbital
Underworld
Ozric Tentacles
Leftfield
The Princess Confederacy (obscure band/guy, sample MP3s can be found here)

If you like rap/metal combos then give Quarashi a try.

Slightly more Depeche Modeish:
V.A.S.T. (Visual Audio Sensory Theatre)

If any of them hit the mark, let me know and I'll give more suggestions (if you like progressive stuff, you mentioned Rush, then I can give loooads). Hopefully I'll remember that I posted something in an "off topic" area and come back and check sometime :)

In my first post I mentioned someone called Florent Pagny. I was just messing around on YouTube, and found a music video from off his album before last. You can watch it @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qt8AsryqxLE.
