Ok just prepared the section in wiki.
This will be really good for some people to go inside a project helping with the graphics , sounds or programing...

I mean if you like one of the projects and the project need some help, you can contact with the developer(s). easily.

everyone go there to fill it with their projects!!!

WIP WIKI GP2X

oh shit.

well i was bored at work...

tell me how can i go there form the main page of wiki.

ok i think is wrong positioned. is under downloadable... and that is wrong... anyway that list is outdated ...

shall we start the one i created??? I think is quite complete.

The thing is developers we dont want to be on the forums asking for help... We just leave the info there and people can choose from all the projects with no preasure and it can be confidential.

IMHO
- http://wiki.gp2x.org/wiki/Works_In_Progress and http://wiki.gp2x.org/wiki/Projects_-_WIP are dupes, one only pages is probably enough.
- Tables are ugly and unreadle when editing. Lists are pretty and easy to edit. Why does people keep on using tables ?
- A WIP pages should only lists "WIP projects" (or whatever you call them), each of them should have his own (wiki) page with his details. The page can evolve to a "product" page when the project is ready for release. For instance, if I work on a game project called "Jumping Bob", I create a page called "JumpingBob" and add a link to it in the "Games" section of the "WIP" page.
- For quick and esasy creation of "WIP details pages", Templates can be used.

Maybe a little harder to learn, but easier to use with niver results.

well u know i am working and i try ti to do stuff on the wiki but if some one has better knowledge of the wiki , that person is the one that should style it.

anyway. a table i think is the quickest way to order stuff. And have it together i really wouldnt like to have to navigate in lots os diferent pages to see what is beeing done and what isnt. Anyway the new wiki site is JUST for WIP. Whenever is finished it will go to another website and erased of that list.

What do you think? If you think lists are better u have a try and lets see...
We should do this stuff before is too late.

So, shall we try with the lists?

But this is not a "new wiki", this is juse a "wiki page" on the GP2X Wiki (wiki.gp2x.org).
The idea is really simple
* Create new pages for each WIP projects
* List them on the "Work in Progress" page
This is pretty simple, no need for Wiki kung-fu or anything, just the bases: edit and create new pages. Much more easy than "create huge tables using ugly syntax" and much more readable than "a big huge page with info about a dozen WIP projects".

I did not propose myself to do it, I did not say what you have to do. I just said what you could do to do a better job. If you can face criticisms, and especially constructive criticisms, do not do any public stuff... or at least, do not advert them on public forums.

Anyway, see http://wiki.gp2x.org/wiki/Ambassadors & http://wiki.gp2x.org/wiki/Category:WIP to see what could easily be done. Simply create a page for a WIP, using the WIP template and voilà, it's done.

No, actually the other way is better as you can put more detailed info aobut th egame. You dont seem to understand how you search the wiki. You DONT have to have a link to the page on a front page for it to be good. You have just done a less complete, only 4 games!, version of a page that is already there.

what is going on? 4 games? in only one day? do you think is gonna be quicker than that? I have been worki that section for a few hours...

Do you want to use outdated sections? fine im just helping , but u dont give a shit do you? U just moan instead doing something.

Sometimes I think that people like u that thinks that know everything, are destroing the scene...
Do you program/design something? If so, I am wrong.

I do understand what he said. I dont understand when u say :

Actually I did release some shitty games a while back. I am actually working on a fenix project but I dont think fenix is upto the job so I am learning C for now adn then eventually I will be able to make things more efficiently. But that is beside the point.

Now I am going to make something clear...

IF ITS OUTDATED CLAP YOUR HANDS!
IF ITS OUTDATED CLAP YOUR HAND!
IF ITS OUTDATED AND YOU KNOW IT AND YOU REALLY WANT TO SHOW IT!
IF ITS OUTDATED AND YOU KNOW IT THEN UPDATE IT!

Now that thats over. How can a table that simple take you hours...

Also if I want to find out about the game/app/emu do you know what ill do?

SHOCK HORROR

Ill type it in the search box!

*sigh* That was a useless arguement. Anyway, I might give it a go. By lists, do you mean hardcore lists like http://wiki.gp2x.org/wiki/Suggestion_Box#Games_2 or lists with some included information?

Edit: I fixed it up a little but have not yet merged, let me know what you think. I need updated info from theoddbot before I'm going to touch the libraries section any more.
