Sup? I have a 32mb SMC from a Cybiko (worse buy EVER). Think that will do awhile? IS 32mb enough to play Her Knights/Guardian? Ty

LOL i had a cybiko.... 3 years ago :D I used to write in the Cydevr Forums... 3 years ago... ;) Now im here, like you, realizing that cybiko was a waste... more than 3 years

Anyway, i have no idea if 32 megs is enough. Glad u gave up that piece of $hiz and came here tho.

you know whats kinda wierd? we both had cybiko, <_<, AND we joined this forum the exact same day

EDIT: AND we joined at nearly the same time, im member 1565 and your member 1567

LOL CYBIKO sucked, even the Tony Hawk rip-offs were kinda sucky. And the Free Mp3 player was a waste too. Couldn't play and listen at the same time if ran off the SMC. Fond memories of a wasted POS that was supposed to be great. They even make an EXTREME version, that sucked just as bad and never sold. Those bastards got what came to them.

Well, the size of the SMC depends on what you want to do with it...

I have 6x 128MB... and that's nearly a little short for me ;)

I have all the homebrew games together on one, all my commercial games together on one, one SMC for each emulators I use and one just for GPCinema...

If you want to have everything you ever dreamed of right by your side, choose at least one 128MB. If you just copy the stuff you want to play at the moment and delete the stuff you don't want to play at the moment, 32 MB should be fine... although I'd recommend at least 64MB to have some fun.

I have a single 128, it's always been more than I have needed.
fits plenty of NES/SNES/PCE/yadda yadda. I never do MP3s or video (yet)

though if I ever go for GPCinema I may buy two more 128's for that purpose (for a flight or something)

Does any of the GBC emus run Perfect Dark, MGS -GBC, or Pokemon. Cuz i alwas wanted to try those games? they too hard?

Thx

-Matt (cuz zelda dx is just that Zelda DX)

You can never get enough 128MB SMC's. But you need at least one smc to start with.

Also i had a cybiko 3 years ago, like you others. Was a big piece 'o crap.

I started off with a 32MB smc, I had loads of atariST games, loads of C64, a couple of GB games, and an episode of futurama on it. ( C64 games take up about 100k each, St games are 720k, GB games are 256-1MB, and the cartoon was low quality). But as everyone has said, you can never have to many cards, and you always use whatever sizes you have bought (I got a 32, then a 64, and now two 128MB, all of them are in use for differant things). Bare in mind you won't be able to fit a lot of MP3's/OGG's or a decent movie on anything less than a 128MB card.

32meg SMC will be fine for a while if you're choosy about your games (could fit DOOM on it with plenty to spare...) but i think you'll find you'll run out of space quickly. i've got one 128 meg card and i'm always having to delete stuff. thinking of getting a couple 32meg cards as well myself, they're nice 'n cheap :)
