Postal would be a great port, But I dont think the Source Code is available. A Remake of Postal would kick ass on the GP32 :D hehe... Anyone want to try?? :D

have you played POSTAL 2 Share the pain?? (Multiplayer version :D)

hahe, i played both postal and postal 2 and they are really nice and funny.
it's a great idea to port the first one for the gp32 but i'm not sure if the source is available.. :huh:

There are two pinned messages about ports:
Pinned: WANT SOMETHING PORTED? LOOK HERE!
Pinned: Ports require source code!

Still out of the last 7 ideas/wishes 3 are closed source games (with request for more of them in the threads) with quite a few ideas about porting games that require(d) powerfull pc's :blink:

You guys take a looong time to sober up from new year's....

Thats Why I Said a REMAKE!!! Read my post before saying I need to read the Stickies :angry: .... :D :D :D

POSTAL Works fine on my 133mhz (Or something around that) laptop, so it should work perfectly on GP32 if its Remade... :p

It's not that big a difference: ports require source but remakes still require the rights unless you change all sounds, graphics and the storyline to something that does not resemble the original anymore.

I admit your post says remake, your choice of words was fine, above my post it turned into port again and that got me going. It just seems like this topic is turning into "Hey I got a ludicrous idea, wanna hear about it?". That way it loses it's purpose.

133Mhz Laptop != 133Mhz GP32 :p

For a start, the GP32 has no floating point support whatsoever, which means its emulated, and we all know emulators need about 10 times the power of the real thing. Advantages are that no microsoft = much faster, but still not fast enough.
