Lemmings Clone Coming To Gp32

This emulator for GP32 emulates the capcom power system arcade boards (CPS1 and CPS2), while the memory constraints seriously limit the number of compatible games i hope to use the 68k core in future emulation projects.

Current Status: 95% - Needs Optimisation.

sound's fake to me!!!

All we saw of the Gigas Engine was a sprite walking around a background. Thats not really what I'd call an engine, and I doubt that any more work was done to it.

Quote from Woogal:
That was believed to be a fake as pirotic kept claiming he was going to release a beta to a few people, but never did. Pirotic then disappeard from the gp32 scene (much to everyone's relief)

Quote from Craig:
This was a hoax, he is just a troll. Read all about him all over gp32emu.

EDIT: Sorry True Karma, im in a bad mood with ignorant people at the moment. Didn't mean to take it out on you.

how old was the release of gigas engine??? long way back..
i dont think that are all fakes..
all said that he just talks shit, but why is he than still updating the page and replies to emails...
i think and hope those arent fakes!

I was talking about the CPS emu because basicly when questioned he knew nothing about emulators or the CPS system and ended up being banned from emuboards for his lies, maybe hes been away learning about it since...

No idea about the other things, but a lemmings clone seems pointless when you can emulate about 8 versions of it, the snes, sms and ST ones being near perfect.

put the hand-bags on the floor and step away slowly!

I do understand why you think im winding you up, and i'll admit it was a bit cruel to release screenshots without a demo to go alongside it - in all truth i didnt think anybody would even look at my site, one day i logged on to find i was news on the major GP32 sites and suddenly i was bombarded by you lot (which was nice to begin with) asking for proof/demos and such forth.

Im always very wary about releasing demos, the only demo i've released to date was a really really early version of Gigas which i rushed for the 15-day comp.

I notice its the common to constantly releasing WIP versions, but doesn't that get on your tits? by the time i download the latest version of (x) i find out that a newer version is out with a couple of minor bug fixs, arggg.. i've always been the type to keep something rather low-key and then release it out of the blue when its finished, for example: the amount of time i spend having to defend myself on forums i could of spent coding the thing. i try to reply to every e-mail i get too which doesn't help :p

Im not a CPS expert no, im constantly thinking i can skip part of the code out when porting only for it to fuff up totally, im am however pretty decent ASM/C coder and while porting from open source may seem like a waste of time to you 'experts', its the only way im going to learn how to write one by myself.

So anyway, hopefully in my abstance the flames have died down a little.

regards

Good luck on your coding efforts, concider releaseing a monthly progress report just so as not to get peopls hopes up too quickly. Seems to be kinda easy to do these days.
