How do i get the pc to recodnise the GP32? i cant do anything and i dont know how to do anything with USB.

Download the drivers and extract the drivers somewhere eaasy to remember such as: C:\gp32drivers

Connect your gp32 and turn it on

when the install wizard shows up select to install from a location and choose the file that you saved it in and the driver(the .sys file i think)

it should install

the wizard never comes up iv tried reseting the computer but that dosnt work. maybey the cables busted, do the bateries have to be new for it to work? or sumeting?

I can't remember, been awhile since I got mine, but make sure you don't just "turn it on" but hit select on your GP32 to go to PC-Link and then hit Start to enter that mode. If that's what you're doing then I'm not sure... there's probably a way to install the USB driver using Control Panel... Add/Remove Hardware, but I don't want to think that much right now :(

Hi, the following trick worked for me. Since I am using the Dutch version of Windows I must guess what the english terms are.

Go to your Windows configuration screen
Choose add new hardware
Do NOT choose automatic but choose ´Select hardware from list´
Under hardwaretype choose somthing USB
Then click on the ´Have disk´button and select the driver you have copied to C:\gp32drivers
Follow the onscreen intrsuctions.

Hope this helps.

It might be an idea to check whetrher the USB drivers have been intslled at all....

Plug in your GP32 to your USB and switch it on...

Check in Device manager (in Control panel - System - click the 'Hardware' tab on windows XP and then click the device manager button).

Under the 'Universal Serial Bus Controllers' section (click the + sign to expand it), you should have a device called 'Gamepark GP32 USB'.

I you haven't you should have Something like 'Unknown Device', either in the USB Controllers section or in 'Unknown Devices'. If so, double click it, go into the 'Drivers' tab and click 'Update Drivers'. It will have a little yellow exclamation mark next to it...

You can then point windows tro the right place again (the place where you downloaded your drivers to) and it should find then and intall them.

Sorry if this feels a bit disjointed - in a bit of a rush! Feel free to ask questions if I've confused the hell out of you!

:D
