hi folks,
now, that wind-ups 1.0 is finally released i'm really looking forward to use it as default (since this seems to load every sort of fxes :D)
thats why i want to flash my firmware to aquafish 4.0, but i dont want fishy bugs like that one in mr.spivs firmware with the upload-limitation ._.

so i wanted to hear the bugs first and do it safest way i can think of (thats why i would also need good tutorials for real beginners on this things)
this may be disgusting, coz i could search the forum and suck every last bit on this thread out of the web, but i think nothing's better than bundled experience :D

(i'd also be thankful for links which lead to something that's the exact same as my question)

so far, the_Diabologic

P.S.: thanks for answers
P.P.S.: strike the P.S. if no answers come XD

i dont remember any bugs ind spivs mfw.
and flashing is always a risk, why you dont use the fye version and put it in auto boot?

can't find it again >_<
but there was this news that mr.spivs (forgive me if it was another firmware) firmware had a bug which only allowed you to upload a limited number of kb

can someone remember that too? can someone find that in the news? can i remember news which didnt exist? is there an error in our room/time-continuum?

that was a aqafish mfw, not mr spiv

ok, looks like nobody is willing to help me since there is the faq on gp32emu :D
i'll do it with that tomorrow and get aquafish 4 on
happy night, guys

omg, the_Diabologic

faq? is that like a guide? if you're scared of getting a bug like aquas firmware had (its an update to the post about the firmware) you could download a separate pclink util. That bug was noticed pretty soon, if you want to be totally safe, wait a week from its release, any fatal bugs should be noticed within that time.

edit/note: that first bit was because I was planning on writing about batteries, but I didn't. Sorry!

ah, yes;
aquafish, mfw, doesnt matter, right? ^^
there was once a fatal bug in a custom firmware, thats the thing i wanted to say;
but know, that i cant wait any longer i'm placing the akkus into my gp32 and gonna flash it :D

c ya, the_Diabologic (this just belongs to when i dont fry my gp32 with that fishy firmware XD)
