I have been getting crashes (reboots GP32) in Duke nukem wad when I am in the movie theater , and also in level two of the simpsons wad. I am only running them at 133 and have fresh batteries. Is there a bug somewhere or what could be the problem?

Thanks

Download the files again and delete the ones on your gp32. Then put the recently downloaded files on. If that doesnt work try different versions of doom2

I have an original doom II wad that came on a PC cd and is fairly recent, and not a pirated downloaded wad. This wad seems to work fine in the areas where the others crash. If I skip to level 5 in duke it will crash every time when I move forward, the original is fine there. Also the Simpsons wad will crash every time on level two when I go to the door on the left and open it. it is to the point where it is un-playable. I downloaded the newest wads from Drumasters site. Not sure WTF is going on.

For Simpsons, it's your doom2.wad that is the "wrong" whereas for Duke Nukem, it's a problem in dukegp.wad.
I have the same problem in the theater and I don't know how to fix it. :)

If your going to use simpsons doom either use the goldeneye wad(which will be called doom2 when unzipped) or eternal doom. Simpsons definetly works with goldeneye cause ive played it through most of the levels.

Yes but Golden Eye is not a PWAD, so it's heavy and you have to delete original doom2.wad from your card.
It's not convenient at all. :)

Try to find the anoter doom2.wad on the net or buy it, it's very cheap! :)

I did buy it. I got from a computer store for $10.00 on a CD. It was crashing a bit randomly when I would open the door on the left and flip the switch and then wander a round the area a bit. I downloaded a version from a reccomended French site and installed that one. This version would crash instantly every single time as soon as I would walk forward toward the switch after opening the gate. So I deleted it and put my original purchased version back in and it seemed to work, even better than before. It really is weird.

In the Dukegp wad it will crash in the movie theater randomly, but if I select level 5 and walk forward toward the opening it crashes instantly every time. When I run the real DoomII wad on the same level Doom II works fine. The area looks the same on both wads pretty much but with different textures in Duke. So I don't know why the Duke version crashes there.

Maybe all of these problems are caused by the wad using just a bit too much memory. When a certain thing is done at a certain time the memory may overflow causing a crash. I don't know how to use editors but if I did I would take out some enemies or geometry in those areas to see if it made a difference.

Why won't the simpsons pwad go paat the loading screen.
You are not doing something right. You must have the full version of DoomII selected as game, and Simpsons as the extra wad.
