I've only played the intro and wandered around town a little bit--it's kind of hard to get very far when you can't access your inventory--and the N64 game appears identical to the Gamecube one. (I used dolphin on a PC.)
Back in the day of N64, I was pretty burnt out on console game systems. I...
I'm checking out the N64 version because I really liked the (3)DS Animal Crossing games. Want to see how it all began.
btw, there is something wacky about the PND for mupen64. I haven't played with it in a while and upgraded to the latest using PND manager and the controls weren't working...
This old N64 game looks pretty good, except for the inventory screen which is completely black or corrupted depending on which video plugin you pick. Probably something to do with 2D moving backgrounds, if the screen looks anything like in the Gamecube version.
There is a lot of complicated...

What is this "touchscreen bug," exactly?
I've been playing with a basiliskii binary I downloaded ages ago in these forums and I don't have any problems with how the touchscreen emulates a mouse. It did take me a while to remember that classic macs were strange in that you had to click a menu...
I'm a little confused about docking? Why do you have to keep hitting the roll keys to match spin with a station?
I don't see any attitude jets (or little angels flapping, LOL) on the station firing to keep it spinning.
Actually, anyplace in the game, when you hit the arrow keys to roll why...
I just remembered Spaceward Ho!. The Palm game Space Trader mentioned above reminded me of it. Used to play the demo on 68K Mac but I see it has been ported to Palm. No flying around or piloting, but lots of trading, fighting, and executive decision making.
I still play it from time to time in...
I only tried the DOS version of this game at a friend's house. It was pretty terrible. No idea what you were supposed to do and I think there were strange hieroglyphics you had to look up in a manual to understand.
Err, LTStone, your link to Lemon Amiga goes to Blasteroids. I looked up...
So I have only heard of elite from older people. I totally missed this game.
I have played Star Flight I & II (DOS) and Escape Velocity (68K Mac) Unfortunately, it won't work in BasiliskII and the versions for newer macs are not as much fun. :(
Starflight got kind of tedious, but it was cool...
At first, I just copied a few to the SD card. But that rapidly becomes a mess so I started using PNDManager.
Where did minimenu come from anyway? Is it some old window manager like fwvm or afterstep stripped down and oddly themed?
(Xfce existed before pandora, so I assume minimenu did too.)
I...
ok, I just booted up my Pandora from having been shutdown. I'd taken the card out to make a backup copy of all my PNDs, app data, DOS games, etc.
I put the card back in and booted to minimenu. I went to the terminal first thing and found oolite to be mounted at /dev/loop0. It isn't always the...
Sometimes you can umount the loopback devices and sometimes you can't.
I was thinking maybe minimenu had mounted PNDs to get the preview image.
I pretty much live in minimenu. The xfce gui is too businesslike for me; I can better concentrate on game playing in minimenu. One does not want to...
Animal Crossing uses a similar if not the very same gestures for movement as the Zelda games. Well, it feels the same as Zelda anyway. I haven't gotten into that game much b/c of the stylus. Those were the first (and last!) 2 NDS games I got. I just assumed that there are lots of DS games that...
Sometimes, I can't unmount SD cards because there are one or two PND files mounted under utmp.
df at the terminal shows they're mounted. The SD card is formatted FAT32.
Funny thing is, it is not ones I'm using. eg. I downloaded PanMame and hadn't gotten around to actually installing any ROMs...
If I switch from xfce to minimenu and go back to xfce, one of the panel applets gets started twice. If I go to minimenu and back to xfce again, the applet appears 3 times. Some xfce-starting script is not checking something.... Not sure what to call the applet; it is the one you go to...
