Someone should put a link to the unofficial blog on the page at openpandor.org
the unofficial blog is amazing and i know a lot of the people who don't read the forums probably still don't know about it.

I honestly don't care that the pandora team can't keep...
I wanted info sure, but maybe it's better in the long run to not bother because rarely does anything happen when projected to anyway. Bottom line is I wish I knew I could be waiting 4-5 months more when I preordered- let's hope they get the reliability of the boards up soon I mean, maybe that...
i don't think anyone is going to loose a meaningful amount of money if they stay on top of the refund process...even if currency has fluctuated some, they are going to refund back to you what it costs to order the thing right? so if you just reorder it as soon as you get the money you shouldn't...
we haven't made them millionaires yet. They have a ton of money invested in this and probably wont be out of the red until the second batch at least.
these delays are probably costing them money for more reason than one
hey, do what i'm going to do.
if you haven't gotten an email and they give the all clear message, email or call gbax and ask them about your order.
i've emailed them a couple times and they've been really great.
i'd wait till they are done with this crisis and give the all clear, i'm sure...
why do people think they there is a chance they won't be affected by this?
if you ordered from craig's site and used a credit/debit card then you are affected from what i gather.
its not a matter of if, just a matter of when they get around to refunding you.
or did i miss something?
everyone knew going in that this was being put together by a small production team. I've seen much larger, experienced companies have production issues. So far this thing is more or less on schedule from what i can gather...people, chill out and let them produce the damn thing.
instead of a hard drive or anything like that why not just use a networked samba drive? i build a file server based on ubuntu server for my network and i run webmin on it for all admin stuff and have torrentflux on it....it's great because my brother and i do a lot of torrent downloads but now...
even if it isn't available graphically (Which is should be) i'm sure, because it uses linux, it'll be available for edit
in linux everything is a file.
you can edit that file
