Is This The End Of The Wiz

It seems like with the general dissatisfaction of the Caanoo, there should be more development going on for the Wiz. I sure hope it isn't dead. I got mine last year after I came back from Army Basic and Advanced training, and wound up taking it to Camp Ripley for a couple weeks. I played the...

    Gmenu2X Skins

Yeah, check out this link for the AutoReallyRun files: http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?/topic/48812-autoreallyrun/ Basically, you download ARR and unzip the files to the root of your SD card. Make a backup of the autorun file that's already on the SD card (just in case), then run...

    Gmenu2X Skins

I used Win2X for quite some time (even tweaked the Windows 95 skin a bit to make it more authentic), but it was far too limiting for me. I did check the Gmenu folders, the links just disappeared when I capitalized one letter. It all works now though. My only problem now is the lack of USB...

    Gmenu2X Skins

Cool, I'll try 'em out after work. I had to delete my old Gmenu and start over with a new one, 'cause for some reason all the settings shortcuts disappeared in mine when I changed the "settings" section to "Settings." Now that I can change skins again, I want to try 'em all!

    Gmenu2X Skins

Do older Gmenu2X skins (for the GP2X) work with Gmenu2X on the Wiz? Seems like there's a short list of skins on the Wiz side.

    Anything in English?

    Internal Wifi

If the wifi adapter ever comes out, I think I'm gonna try to make it internal. I don't know if there are any good battery mods for the Wiz (as the forum's search sucks), but if I could get a smaller-sized battery in there I want to crack open the wifi adapter and try to rig it so it can be...

    Gmenu2X - Usb And Incompatibilities

So we now have a PDF of instructions for Gmenu2X. That's great, I already know how to use the file browser and change settings. What I want to know is how I can make these links return so I can use them again.

Which Open Source Handheld To Get?

What's this? A challenger has entered the tournament!

    Pcsx4All

Yeah, 'cause I'm using my own PS1 discs for this, and the readme totally helps with suggestions on free, legal to download software to help me rip 'em. I do have it working, but thanks for the tip anyway. And by "tip" I mean "nothing."

Holy crap, someone else who plays Tempest X3! Try Zoop. Except for the music playing only the intro track over and over again, it runs pretty well.

    Pcsx4All

I tried CloneCD, and that seemed to work. But it's a 21-day trial, so is there anything better that's free? Does the BIOS used make any difference? I have Zoop working, but the CD-audio doesn't. It just plays the intro track over and over.

    Pcsx4All

Okay, I can't get this thing to work at all. The furthest I get with the Mortal Kombat Trilogy iso on any settings is the SCEA logo at startup, then it freezes. What should I be using to rip my PS1 discs, and to what format? Also, I have a bunch of old BIOS files, the one I'm using is...

    Gmenu2X - Usb And Incompatibilities

I just added and reorganized my sections (tabs) via PC, and noticed that when I renamed folders like "applications" and "settings" to "Applications" and "Settings," that some important shortcuts disappeared. Shortcuts like Explorer, Wallpaper, and Skin. When I uncapitalized them, they came back...

    Gmenu2X - Usb And Incompatibilities

I'll start a list. It may take a while though... I just did the math, and including ROMs I have 1030 game and apps on my Wiz. WOO!
