All them tiny Handheld who shall not deserve its own Thread

You don't have to get just one ;)

AP looks quite awesome in Green, i only have the booring Black.. , im currently waiting for the Blue Chromatic, this will be a nice Handheld for when i want to go "Back to the Roots", for on the Go these Gameboy/GBC Cardridges are much too inpractical, but for some at home Retro Sessions it should be nice ..

I got me quite some Gameboy GBC Roms for my Retrohandhelds, but these Original Cardridge Eating Retrohandhelds are a good reason for going on some RetroEvents like the Retrobörse in Völklingen where i got a few years ago allready a few nice Gameboy Games..

The Analaloque Pocket is a nice Device, allthough for GBA Games maybe a bit strange to play..

Found out there is a purple AP in a pawn shop near me, with the rugged case, for less than they sell new. I don’t really like the color, but it’s cheap and I could get it today. Are there any things to look out for as far as damage or whatever that I might not know about?

I would prefer black, or the glow in the dark, so I’m still a bit iffy on this one. I was going to wait, but…

Not that I know of, you can inspect the case for damage, but I would at least power it on to check if the screen and buttons works. For this reason you could bring a power-bank and usb-c cable in case it's not charged.

When the Analogue store went out of stock of the white ones earlier today, after I decided to wait for the black, I took that as a sign I might be waiting a while. We know how that goes.

I just bid on, and won, a Glow one, my favorite color they have put out. It will be here next week. Y’all failed at talking me out of it. Congratulations.

So excited to get it.

And i hope for my Chromatic GBC for maybe later this week, they should arrive this Monday on the Dragonbox Store.. , shure its sounds still strange that i also got me an "Cardridge Only Gameboy" a few weeks bevor the Ayn Thor, but some times you need just something to play the old way ..

Dragonbox did send me an Email that my Modretro Chromatic GBC in Blue including Chromatic Tetris, and my 2 new GBC Games are ready for Pickup by DHL, i did chose Projekt S - 11 which is an shooter, and Gravitourque DX, as well as the Akkupack because even though this thing takes normal AA Batteries, i dont want it to run on Batteries, as this was the Reason why i did back then wanted the Pandora as an Gameboy Game Running Device.. (in retroperspective, an GBA SP where also an Option but i did not thought about that)
I will devinitivly make an Video on Sunday, maybe Sunday evening, and like whit all these Gameboy Running Devices, my first Game to play will be Super Mario Land, and if my EverDrive works also Super Mario Land DX Version 2,0..

Thank you in Advance ;) I may not comment too much but I enjoy all your videos about these fine new handhelds, and it helps make me suddenly enjoy my old GB games again this fall (yet another fall, almost each one since 2010 when I really got into retrogaming).

Now we wait for the first impressions.
It’s definitely an amazing device. Controls work perfect, screen looks awesome (especially those classics…the game boy green screen never looked so good). Everything I try on it gives me the feeling that it might be ok to let my original hardware go, and that’s difficult to get from me, especially since I enjoy every aspect of using the real deal, including the controllers and sometimes needing to reinsert a cartridge. Stuff I could only dream of having as a kid is here, and I’m guessing it’s pretty close to the real experience, except I get to play it on a game boy clone, and I am a huge game boy fan.

I know Analogue wants to sell hardware, but I’m going to hold off on accessories for now. I need to enjoy the pure experience before I try it on a TV or whatever.

Now back to Wario Ware!
