    Ubuntu - Codeblocks - Open2X

    I'm currently trying to get Code::Blocks to cross compile with Open2x in Ubuntu however I'm very new to Ubuntu and I keep coming across little problems that are confusing the hell out of me. So far I have open2x and the libs installed to my Opt directory. I have pointed Code::Blocks to the bin...

    Sdl Test - Build Not Running

    Another quick question, will I have to do all that linker stuff each time I start a new project? Am I best making an empty template?

    Sdl Test - Build Not Running

    Hello. I've recently installed the Codeblocks package that is preconfigured for the GP2X, however when I try to run the .exe of the SDL Test I get an error that asks for the DLL files: SDL.dll, SDL_image.dll and I think it asked for jpeg.dll Do I need to put those files into my system32 folder...

    Gp2x Mag

    We should start a GP2X fanzine and issue it around our colleges, schools, universities and offices. Open the Free Software scene to more geeks. Power to the End User! Woo!

    Breakout Board, Gamepads, Tv-out, Etc.

    Two power supplies? Reminds me of the 32x. A GP32x :D . Gawd, I hate myself. <_<

    Breakout Board, Gamepads, Tv-out, Etc.

    Just buy yourself the TV-Out cable and the required cables. That way you can use your GP2X as the Gamepad. If you want to attach a keyboard and mouse buy a BoB/Cradle aswell. I'm a newbie, so can a seasoned GP2X-er confirm this for me? Edit: Oh yeah, the additional power supply is a sharp pain...

    Breakout Board, Gamepads, Tv-out, Etc.

    I already own a power supply for my GP2X, do I actually need an extra one? Edit: Would I be best getting a Cradle instead of a BoB?

    Breakout Board, Gamepads, Tv-out, Etc.

    I'm thinking of treating myself to a Breakout Board and a TV-Out cable. Are there any unseen costs (additional power supply, cables etc)? Also what software will I need to ensure my USB gamepads work via the board? Will I need to download a special set of drivers? The GP2X is an ace piece of...

    Have I Bricked My Gp2x?

    When I start my GP2X up I get the jingle and then it switches to the green screen (it still says the GP2X is on firmware 2.0), what in God's sick name has happened? Will I need to waste more money on a new one? Did some searching and pulled up the fix. Nevermind.

    C++ Beginner

    I found some decent tutorials on cprogramming.com. They explained what you guys already have and I threw together a console application this morning to prove to myself I can write C++. If you're interested in what a complete C++ newbie can make you can download it here.

    Squidgesnes Trouble

    After I select the executable file the screen goes black with some text on for a small moment and then flicks back off straight afterward. What's the trouble? I've got DrMD and FCE Ultra to work. edit: I'm not sure how but I've posted this on the GP32 board. I am using a GP2X.

    C++ Beginner

    When I try compile and run a sample application such as 'Hello World' the window opens for a brief second and cuts right off. This is irritating as I'm copying the syntax near perfect! Do I have to change the settings at all? I'm starting to get really bloody annoyed.

    C++ Beginner

    Hi, I've downloaded the SDK from GPH and now I'm trying to find a good resource for learning C++. I'm familair with Visual Basic but C++ is overwhelming, there is so much going on. It's dead exciting. Where should I start? I'm really looking forward about diving into C++, I just need something...
