I suppose I can't post links to the roms, then?

The Three Dimensions Of The Gp2x

Thanks for realising there are actually consoles! Hehe. I remember trying Starfox, but it didn't even load. I do know of Block-Out for, well, a few systems. It's a very smooth-running 3D Tetris game.

The Three Dimensions Of The Gp2x

Aww, well, at least it looks promising! And, besides that, I got a quick thrill out of the word 'tweaking'. xP So, I added the Doom link, but what about 'U' and 'Final'? I seriously doubt it refers to Unreal.

Que? BFG? I do hope that means Big Friendly Giant. I'm updating the list now. Wait... What is 'U'? And 'Final'?

The Three Dimensions Of The Gp2x

Does the port have any actual games for it yet? Or not?

The Three Dimensions Of The Gp2x

You can find the Marathon games here: http://wiki.gp2x.org/wiki/Aleph_One I think they're quite good and run very smoothly. I'm adding the list into the first post. :) Complete with links.

The Three Dimensions Of The Gp2x

Well, I know of Descent, Duke Nukem 3D, the Marathon trilogy, the Hexen games and the Quake games. Perhaps I should compile a list?

The Three Dimensions Of The Gp2x

Hi! I was wondering... What 3D games are out there for the GP2X? How many? I don't just mean interpreters like Duke3D, I mean emulated games and games that were designed for or ported to the GP2X. Just thought it'd be interesting to know. Brucey  UPDATE: Here's the list (a work in...

    Little Big Adventure

I believe Babbagemachine was working on a port of Little Big Adventure (a.k.a. 'LBA'), but the topic, well, it died! According to the topic the game doesn't use OpenGL or have any other major obstacles. Also, we now know that much more about hardware scalars and Polynesian bookbinding, so...

    Windows 3.11

XTC Abandonware. Rumour has it that they stock such old things... Google it, I don't know if I may post a link.

    Windows 3.11

I have a box of giant install floppies for Windows 3.1, but I no longer have a drive to read them! I think they're downloadable, though...

    Windows 3.11

If we got old Apple running with Basilisk, then surely we could get some ol' Windows platform running. And besides the obvious reasons for doing so, I really want to play MouseTrap!

    GP2X Stanless Steel Gp2x

Or what about a faux metal covering? I believe there are places where you can buy very thin film that looks like aluminium, but I don't know where or what it's called. I think someone somewhere said it was used in some Apple hardware to make it look like metal. Anybody got a clue?

Handwriting Pad As A Touch Screen For Gp2x

How about making it into something like the old magnifier fro GameBoy?

So Where's Everyone Physically Located Anyway?

South Africa, Africa, The World The only one, I think.

    Gp2x Zine

Hello, I am busy designing a GP2X PDF Magazine for free online distribution. I need one thing... Content. If you would like to supply an editorial, article, advert (I would like at least two GP2X shop adverts, please!) or review, please PM me. I hope to have this ready for release in early...

    Dott Crash

DJ, It works fine now. So, before I continue, do I just wait for it be released 'oficially'?

    Dott Crash

Hiya, I am using ScummVM to play DOTT. It plays perfectly, apart from one small glitch... When you tell Hoagie to wash the carriage with soapy water, the game crashes. How can I get past this? Is there a way to fix it? Can I play that sequence on my PC and then continue on my GP2X? If so, how...

Yeah, I got it working with VirtualDub. :)

    Real Media

Aha! Words of wisdom from Number 33 himself! Oddly enough, Dr. Divx seems to defy logic. Regardless of the specified resolution, it seems to supply the same file size estimate... :( Most unusual.
