I was thinking along the lines of the rumored PSP 2. It's reasonable to think that it might be more powerful than the Pandora, and if a homebrew scene were to emerge...
I hope it isn't outdated by it's release.
For all we know point five on the checklist hasn't even started yet.
"Create mould of final case (can be done once the case fits, takes 30 - 35 days)"
For one thing, a virus/spyware on the Pandora could be much more destructive than on the gp2x/gp32 because the Pandora would be storing information such as passwords and private info due to it's wider range of non-gaming features.
The Pandora apparently has the same screen used in the "Archos 605 WiFi", so read some reviews of it's screen if you're that worried.
Most of the reviews I've read praise the picture quality but are upset with the glare in direct sunlight. (Wiz has the Pandora beat there, I suppose.)
Some games (Harvest Moon, Pokemon, Zelda, ect) could work if theres one big screen displayed and an option to switch between the top and the bottom.
Edit: Now that I think about it, most games would work.
Chip was making the point that you need an external game pad to actually play many of these things. And if you're going to bother with that, why even bother with ultra-portable at all?
Pandora's got built in gaming controls, a touchscreen, and will probably have longer battery life (mbook's advertised 6 hours is still decent). Mbook also appears to be X86 and runs windows.
Honestly, they're different devices entirely. You need to decide what features are most important for you.
While your working on the main page, it might be worth updating the questions and answers; September 30th preorders, 330 dollar price tag are outdated.
