    Gigadrive Play List

Very nice emulator! Runs quiet a few games at full speed. Here are my test results: Contra Hard Corps Intro runs fine, ingame hase problems with sprite collisions and background-graphics. Unplayable Gynoug Seems to run perefctly. Tested and completed the first level. Great! Lemmings Intro...

OPenSNES9xGP Out and ready for the play!

Well I have just tried a few games on this ver ynew piece of software: I am using the 156MHz-Version as I cannot go higher with my GP32  "VS" means "Video Sync" is turned on, otherwise it is off. Super Mario World With Sound: - Frameskip 2 = video is about 70% of full speed, sound...

Which games do you REALLY play?

Is SuperMarioWorld playable (I mean fast enough) for you? Which emulator and what settings do you use? And is there a possibility to play Bomberman with multiple players? It's not thatgreat fun if you play the single-player modus... Thanks...

Which games do you REALLY play?

Yeah, we all know the great capabilities of our beloved GP32 and the available emulators. Now my question: Which games do you all really play on GP32? And I don't mean "Which games do you have on your GP32?". I myself am currently playing Final Match Tennis on GPEngine (PC-Engine emulator)...

    Dungeon Master: How to save?

Thanks for your reply. Well, I knew your how2 before I posted here :) But I don't understand all of it: I do not have an existing Savegame to use in CSB. And I want to start with DM :D I think after formatting a Savedisk from the Atari TOS, I didn't use the file called *.sav . I will try...

    Dungeon Master: How to save?

That's why I wrote "Once I have successfully saved my party I can use the savestate function from Castaway"

    Dungeon Master: How to save?

I tried to start DungeonMaster (it seems to work perfectly) and now want to save my "party" to be able to start a new game. So i inserted a savegame floppy in A:, even formatted it with DungeonMaster and the tried "Save and Quit". The problem: DungeonMaster says something like "Unable to save...

Scummvm: Monkey Island 1 - Saving?

I will check this this evening when I am at home.

    ScummVM

I think it depends on the version of your Monkey Island 1. The floppy version has sound (although it is somehow "dirty", that is in all scummvm-games on gp32). The CD-Version has no sound on gp32. That is not for 100% sure, but for 95% B)

    ScummVM

Well, you get used to it. But it is THAT cool to play these great games on a mobile device everywhere you like that this small "problem" becomes totally unimportant

Would you pay for an Amiga emu?

That is not the question. I only wanted to give an example of how much CPU-power is needed to emulate an amiga *smoothly*. And the computer with the "lowest" MHz I have emulated an amiga on was my amiga1200ppc :D

Would you pay for an Amiga emu?

On my Amiga1200 with PPC-Card (603e 240 MHz) the Amiga-Emulator (!) was quiet slow... What does anybody make think it will be playable on the 133 MHz GP32 ?

Would you pay for an Amiga emu?

Of course I would pay for it :) But I really doubt that such an emulator is possible on gp32.

Scummvm: Monkey Island 1 - Saving?

Well, nice to hear this! Do you know who "made" this new version and where to find more information about it (not to mention the release date ;) )

Scummvm: Monkey Island 1 - Saving?

Yeah, thanks for the patched version! It works for me as well, now I can save with Monkey Island 1  This "patched" version is 0.3.1cvs (2002-12-04), which is the same version as the one I had before. Phew, this version is now one year old! Would be great if somebody could create a newer...

Scummvm: Monkey Island 1 - Saving?

Hello to all GP32-Freaks! For one week now I am a proud owner of a gp32 :D The first thing I installed was Scummvm of course. Now to my question: Is there a way I can save games in Monkey Island 1 ? With Monkey 2 and DOTT saving works perfectly (OK, naming is a bit fuzzy). As I read...

is the GP32 suitable for viewing html?

Wouldn't it be possible to "port" the web browser "lynx"? The first step would be to display local html pages IMO, and lynx could do a nice job. I do not have any experience with porting applications to other platforms, so forgive me if porting lynx is impossible
