    Pandora charger stopped working

Thanks, that is fine. The charger seems to work okay. Sadly it was also my shortwave radio charger but I don't use it often enough to mind that much and I could just buy a new charger for my Pandora if I really need the radio charger.

    Pandora charger stopped working

The LED that isn't working is the one on the charger. As a replacement I am currently using a very similar charger, with the one difference being that it only ouputs 1A... It appears to work fine. Would it be a problem to just use that?

    Pandora charger stopped working

Hello, My Pandora charger stopped working... it still heats up, but the LED doesn't light up and, well, it doesn't charge. Is this covered by the warranty? (Would it just be a little mean to claim it off the warranty when I am aware finding a replacement wouldn't be that hard?) Farewell

    Language learning programs?

I think I installed it through the PND store. There might be a slight difference between them?

    Language learning programs?

I used Anki to revise for non-language related exams this summer (which have now finished), and it worked very well. It did, however strike me how suited it was to languages. Even better, although I had to make my own cards, I think there are some public card decks for common languages. Have a...

    Your pandora has been shipped

After mulling over this whether I should go premium for a month or so, I finally upgraded my original first batch order (from April 2010) and got the receipt for the premium extra yesterday. To my surprise, I got the confirmation e-mail today around mid-day. So, in the spirit of this topic; my...

    Instant Pandora with a premium?

On second thought, I wouldn't mind as that much as long as there are figures demonstrating a reasonable movement through the queue... And I foresee a shortage of components.

    Instant Pandora with a premium?

I have realised that this is probably the best thing for the company and the community and can see how it will speed up delivery in the short term. My biggest worry is that more money will not make shipping or board/case production faster and I can’t help thinking that this will cause a backlog...

    Pandora Online

Thank you. It is wonderful to give people the chance to see the capabilities of the Pandora. I attempted to install Navit, and realised I was out of my depth (well, it installed but the GUI lacked menus of any kind) so installed TangoGPS and... it works. If only it wasn't the early morning or I...

    SD Cards and speed

I ordered 2 SD cards yesterday, a Kingston 16GB class 4 and a Transcend class 10... Is Transcend a reliable brand and will class 10 help with the likes of booting from SD?

    Usb Devices

You might want to look at this http://pandorawiki.org/USB_reference ... It is "USB mini-AB", as far as I can tell, accepting both in some respect. I have a USB mini A OTG adapter and it fits into my phone which has a USB mini B connection... The distinction might be to do with the OTG aspect...

    The Youtube Video Thread!

I was browsing tinyvid.tv , after trying to upload some completely non-pandora-related video and I found this (a well seen video of PSX4Pandora) as the second most recent upload. It is not new but to see a Pandora video when not looking for one was quite something. EDIT: In fact, somebody...

    Anyone Installed An Invisible Shield?

A look at the touch screen of my original DS is proof that I need a screen protector for my future Pandora. Apart from the large scratch in the screen caused by my fingernails, it is covered in micro-scratches with a patch in the middle absolutely covered in scratches. Thus a (supposedly) self...

How Are All The Linux Newbies Coping?

It seems top heavy setups are not popular around here. I use Ubuntu and have completely gotten rid of the bottom bar and moved everything to the top. It may look a little cluttered but it seems much more practical than having to either split your attention between two bars or use the bottom one...

Pandora As In In Car Entertainment System?

OpenStreetMap is fine in urban areas but try going to Sardinia with it (as I did) and you will find that some areas have no mapping at all! Navit is... a little shoddy, so good luck on your own satnav software.

Pandora As In In Car Entertainment System?

Navit works okay on my laptop... I wouldn't say it is reliable but it can route one way or another and I have been known to use it as a navigation aid. It is not a replacement for a sat-nav as OpenStreetMap is unreliable and Navit has a tendency to speak commands a little too late. But it is...

    Navigating App For Bluetooth Gps

Navit is apparently in the Ångström repo. If it works similarly to the version I have on my laptop (can't see any reason it won't) and plays nice with the Pandora, then there is a readily available navigation application. Getting the directions into speech, on the other hand (although possible...

    Ups Missed Delivery

I would ask for a demonstration of Navit from the Ångström repo, but you might not have a GPS unit to work with it (you don't need one, but it is kind of the point), or the time to configure it. As it isn't a Pandora specific piece of software (no pnd yet) it might be a headache to get working...

    Programs From The Ångström Repo

We have a great detail of information on how to use pnd files, but I would quite like to know where programs from the Ångström repo are installed. I have searched for an answer and there are suggestions that it might be on the NAND, installing as you might on Linux generally. Can we decide on...

    [SOLVED] Help With Wifi

Have you tried using Arora instead of Midori? shouldn't help if it is a network problem but Midori had some bugs if I remember correctly. It is always good to remove possible weaknesses. Good luck.
