The PSP version of VICE runs much better without having to reduce the framerate and at a lower CPU speed. This clearly shows the Caanoo version has a problem.
I Wish more coders were dedicated to the Caanoo right now, I Feel the platform has been abandoned :(
I downloaded the TV switcher app from the file repository, and I did manage to get some emu running in fullscreen (UAE4ALL) but I tried Picodrive and otehrs after that, and all I got was a garbled scren.
Can anyone help this n00b out?
Thanks!
I suppose being able to choose between the two modes ("trackpad" and direct) would be awesome.
I also have another suggestion: add USB keyboard and mouse support. This would make an awesome addition.
I still don't understand what the first two options do. Anyone?
I will be trying more tools...
Thanks Tomlad!
Save state support? Did I miss a version?
Meanwhile: I tried Protracker with it. Why? "blasphemy, he's not playing games?" I hear you say :P . Well, I make music and this is a great portable way to have my mods played without lugging the Amiga around :D
The performance is...
I don't know if it's been officially released (because it's not on the file repository), but the Caanoo port is already available here: http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?/topic/59355-how-long-until-we-see-uae4all-amiga-emulator/
This works great! Thanks Reesy!
For some reason, Time Lock hangs after the second loading screen, though. This game runs on UAE4ALL for GP2X and PSP. I also seem to have found other games locking while loading.
Excuse my n00bity, but can anybody explain to me what the first two options do...
The issue is, if I leave mine OFF (what part of OFF does the Caanoo not understand?) the battery is drained as well. How can we fix this horrible fail? Has there been a recall for this issue or something?
I am geting this issue again. It's totally retarded. One would assume power OFF is OFF.
Even the NDS has better power management than this!!! :(
Any solutions for this problem??
Hello again,
I got a GP2X with an S-Video cable. Is this cable compatible with the Caanoo? It seems to fit in the EXT port but I don't have an S-Video capable TV to test it.
Hey people!
Does anyone know if any place is making and/or selling protective pouches for the Caanoo? I don't want that silicone rubber thingy, I want a pouch to slide the Caanoo in and carry around, much like tehse:
If you are using something not specifically mad for the Caanoo but that...
