Possible To Set Specific Paths For Each 'folder'?

Would it be possible to use a hack of some sort to set specific directories on your SD card for each of the gp2x's 'folders' (Video, Game, Music, Photo, E-Book). Each of these would load into /Video, /Game,... etc instead of just loading to the root dir. Would make navigating through the menus...

Will Emus On The Gp2x Support Save-state?

As the original poster, i'm curious as to why everyone keeps assuming my question pertained strictly to gp2x hardware. The title, "Will Emus On The Gp2x Support Save-state?", specifically asks if EMULATORS that are running on the GP2X will support Save-states. Obviously i'm new to the homebrew...

GP2X Any Serious Obstacles Against A Nintendo Ds Emu?

As people have mentioned, not every game utilizes the full hardware functionality of the DS. For example, some games' use of the second screen is not absolutely vital to the gameplay, other than providing an overview map or something similar. Though, ideally, we would be able to use the TV-Out...

GP2X Any Serious Obstacles Against A Nintendo Ds Emu?

I believe the two processors in the DS are both ARM.. unless i'm missing something, the only real problem is waiting for a decent DS emulator to come out and be ported to Linux.

    Porting Possibility

The unavailability of the source code for the PC version of Diablo notwithstanding, what's the likelihood of a decent PS1 emulator being developed for the gp2x?

    Cheap Sd Cards

What are the general prices ranges you've find for various SD cards? Has anyone found a 1gb SD card for $50 or cheaper? Just looking for a few suggestions, thanks.

    Quick Question

You can use it straight out of the box, given that you don't exceed 64 megs worth of emulators, roms, ebooks, music and videos (minus however much space the OS takes up on the internal NAND memory).

    Reading Pdfs On The Gp2x

Multiply that action by 300+ and i'm sure you can see why a few of us might be hoping for PDF support.

    Reading Pdfs On The Gp2x

By comparison, how well do you think the gp2x would be able to handle a web browser? Assuming someone can get the wireless SD cards working and the proper software is ported, etc.

    Reading Pdfs On The Gp2x

Hmm.. well, I guess I should start looking for a good PDF -> text converter.

    Reading Pdfs On The Gp2x

Hopefully there will be support for PDFs either through the included software or a linux port. I have no attempted to read a PDF file on such a small screen before, and I was wondering if anyone has any reservations about this functionality? About 70% of my ebooks are in PDF format, so bad news...
