    Best SNES emu

Which do you think is the best SNES emulator? Snes9x4P? Or SNES9x Ex Plus Alpha? I find that the Ex Plus emu emulates the sound more accurately, but I have to overclock my Pandy Rebirth to maximum to get some games to run full speed(unless I have frameskip enabled which I don't like doing :<)...

    Dust underneath screen

I did, he can't help me since he doesn't have any LCDs and apparently there's a shortage of them right now. Bummer... :<

    Dust underneath screen

I could... I wonder if that would be worth the trouble though. Would I send it to Link instead since I live in the US?

    Dust underneath screen

As much as it kills me... especially since there's a few specks in there and not just one; I'll just leave it alone. My house is dust haven, so it will pretty much be guaranteed that I'll end up getting more debris in there. Probably just better off buying a new console in the long run. XD

    Dust underneath screen

So do you think it's worth the effort for me to clean it? Or should I just deal with it?

    Dust underneath screen

It seems that some debris has gotten underneath the actual acreen itself and not the screen protector. Is there an easy and safe way that I can clean it out? I think it happened because one of my speakers is missing padding (it was shipped to me like this). I don't want to take it apart unless...

Okay, so, it's 2013. Any new news regarding Craig's 1ghz preorders?

He's just saying that you're a swell guy Link! :)

    Praise for ithic.com & Link

I also will give Link and ithic vast praise. He always responds to all my questions quickly and politely and his site well organized. When I first ordered my Pandy he shipped it quick and everything came well packaged and in working order. He also has suffered through my ramblings on the sound...

    Snes9x4P question

Ok, that's for Snes9x... how about any of the other emulators?

    Snes9x4P question

Yeah, I always have it enabled.

    Snes9x4P question

Your first paragraph pretty much explained the problems that I was having. Except I was experiencing it across all the emulators I tried (PicoDrive, and PCSX Rearmed as well). It wasn't every game mind you, but a good portion of the ones I tried. Can someone confirm that the sound emulation just...

    Snes9x4P question

Is there any good way I could go about doing this? Normally I would just record off of my smartphone, but I don't know if the sound quality would be good enough for you to hear anything.

    Snes9x4P question

Definitely not hearing things, the mp3 test was clear as day. I wouldn't care if ALL the Pandoras were like this, but I have no way of knowing since I don't have a second unit to compare...

    Snes9x4P question

I played two of the mp3s on the desktop and the pandora. Unfortunately there was a clear difference between the two.... the playback on the pandora was a little more high pitched and scratchy. I have no skills in soldering or the like... do you have any recommendations on what I should do?

    Snes9x4P question

Ok, I'll try that out and post the results here when I'm finished. Thanks for the assistance!

    Snes9x4P question

Hey guys! I figured I'd give you a little update.... I've been playing around with PCSX Rearmed lately (beautiful piece of software) and it seems the sound effects issue extends to that too. I guess this would mean that there is something internally wrong with my system if no one else has this...

    Snes9x4P question

It didn't completely fix the issue but it made the sound effects sound a lot better. Thank you! If anyone else has thoughts or opinions please share them with me! :>

    Snes9x4P question

Both speakers produce sound, it's just that the left one is missing foam padding. But I'll try with headphones and see what that sounds like. I'll post my results here after I'm done.

    Snes9x4P question

Ok, let me know what you think!

    Snes9x4P question

What kind of info do you need? As for what it sounds like... it basically just sounds like some of the sound effects are distorted or that some of the channels are missings. Only the sounds effects though, the music is 100% perfect. Also no, I'm not using headphones although I did notice that...
