I'm also having problems with mame 0.34....I would especially like to get Mortal Kombat 1 and 2 working because the genesis versions look like crap(and snes versions are currently too slow)...
And about that 0.34 romset..I think I saw a torrent while ago(google it)..
I thought I should mention that there is also new article about gp2x in megagames:
http://www.megagames.com/news/html/hardwar...dspromise.shtml
It starts with words: "Forget the PSP, disregard the DS"
You can overclock the movieplayer if you download the new version of the movieplayer (http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?showtopic=30454) and then create a launcher script like this:
#!/bin/sh
/mnt/sd/cpu_speed.gpe 1 2 270 1.0
cd /mnt/sd/mp2x/
./mp2x.gpe
sync
cd /usr/gp2x/
exec...
I have tried multiple card readers (and my gp2x of course) but none of them seem to read this card...Every time I try to read it with card reader my pc freezes (and this happens with gp2x too)...Can anyone tell me what's wrong or is it just simply broken?
The roms folder needs to be in the root directory of your SD card...Create a new folder within that roms folder called snes and put it to the root directory of your memory card and you are ready to play...
I found this list:
hxxp://www.gamefaqs.com/features/top10/277.html
It's a representation of the top 10 sprite based FPS games...I'm would just want to know which one of these
could be ported to gp2x?I know Shadow warrior (#2) is already being ported and Duke Nukem 3d (#7) has been ported but...
Just curious cause the current version (0.02) is almost playable when overclocked to 280 mhz...So Mmu hack might just be the "thing" that makes it playable...
When playing atomic edition I can't start episode 4(The birth)....Am I using wrong files or something?(or is this a common problem?)....Also the ending cutscenes don't work in episode 2 and 3(even though there is nothing wrong with episode 1)..
And btw my suggestion wasn't as bad/"good" as this guy's:
http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?showtopic=29382
(Nexuiz requires 800 Mhz pentium when AvP can requires only 200Mhz)
Just joking...It was released 6 years ago so there is no way gp2x could handle it...What about thief 1(minimum 166mhz)?I don't think the source is even released but still....
