Can anyone tell me if ac adpter like this is compatible with gp2x

INPUT: 100-240V~50/60Hz 0.6A
OUTPUT:+3.0V --- 4.0A

and another question:
Does gp2x support subtitles that are in sub format(or only srt)?

That sounds like it would do the job, plenty of juice there to run the 2x.
Just be careful about the polarity of the connecting plug, the -ve (or 0v, what ever you want to call it) must be in the center.

Edit: have a look here for more info.
Note it says 3.3v although 3v will do it (I run mine off a 3v supply)

Pass on that one. Haven't needed to test that out, yet.

ok thanks for the info :) ....Btw i read somewhere that if u use the wrong kind of ac adapter with your gp2x it will ruin the battery life...So is it safe to use this ac adapter?

And is there quide somewhere how to use subtitles?I know how to use them with pc but is there anything I need to know when using them with gp2x?Subtitle and the video/movie has to be named exactly the same and what else?
