On April 29th the source code for the AGS Engine was released:

AGS has been used to make hundreds of exceptional independent games over the years, including the Trilby\Chzo games by Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw (Zero Punctuation), A Tale of Two Kingdoms, and King's Quest remakes just to name a few...

Would it be possible to use the engine source code to either port these games to the Caanoo or to make an interpreter similar to SCUMMVM? I know there are some discussions over at the SCUMMVM forums about adding AGS support now that the source has been released, but I doubt they'll come to an agreement any time soon.

Anyways, I'd love to play Adventures in the Galaxy of Fantabulous Wonderment on my Caanoo. =)

Hi we have the AGS Engine on the Pandora.
This Version which i ported and updated in the Repo with LunixBochs Agreement runs fine ;)
https://repo.openpandora.org/?page=detail&app=ags

Hello Ingoreis, thanks for the info. Are no individual ports per game required? How is the compatiblity? Because, when I looked on Cartlife's source code some minor adaptions were required for the the newest AGS version. cheers!

Hi..many Games work with this without any Modification.
Stargate Adventure work fine,Heroine of Ragnarok work fine and some others which i tested.
But i sah that many Updates happened there and i can compile a newer Version when you want that :D

In the Moment my Pandora is compiline the newest Mplayer1.3 and Smplayer.
I want to add SmTube too today when it work and then will a repackaging to a PND come soon.

This newer Mplayer work realy good but i made the Mistake to disable not the GL VideoOut...because GLSHIM do not fit the played Video to the Pandora Screen.

Thanks for the offer. in fact, I would be interested if Cartlife works as it is. Hamish Wilson also seems to used directly the windows build ("*.exe") for his linux
package.

Okay i will try to make a new Build this Evening.
Yesterday i was the entire Day busy with this newer SMplayer for the Repo.
Last Time i had Luck and Ags compiled fine "out of the Git".
Maybe it compile fine today Evening too and then i can simply add the newer Files into the Repo PND with the Windows PND Tools. :D
