Hello, I just want to start with development for GP2X, but I don't have one yet...(but want to buy it soon) I thought I will give it a try locally on my notebook with Ubuntu Linux just to compile a few test programs. I used build.sh script, which (after big mumbo-jumbo) created /usr/local/devkitPro filled with lots of stuff...

I wanted to use Anjuta IDE as recommended on gp2x wiki, but when I somehow imported project into Anjuta and pressed Compile a lot of errors appeared, mainly ones that SDH.h is missing...aha...so build.sh script didn't installed SDL libraries? (am I missing here something?)

Nevermind, can anyone more experienced than me tell me step by step how to create development environment in Linux using Anjuta IDE for GP2X. As simple as possible, so after that I can just click compile/build and get some test app running?

Got some experiences with programming, but only in IDEs, so I am a bit lost...and long time Windows user (yay!).

Sorry for newbieness of this post, but plz help one more dev jump into the GP2X vagoon... thx for understanding and patience B)

I mean having something like this: http://img495.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screenshot11cr.png

cool!
I'm a newbie myself, and it looks like a very cool development IDE.
May I ask where you got the picture? was it with some tutorial?

I'm also intrested in knowing how to set up this environment.... so if anyone knows... please help.

still didn't help me much; I think I have some problems with SDL libraries and makefiles...uaaa! Can't solve it and run one stupid Hello World program :-((( If I will solve this thing I will definitely write it somewhere for those like me (mean some HOW-TO).
