I noticed that the ColEmu-homepage offers a maemo-version with arm-optimized code-parts:

http://fms.komkon.org/ColEm/

The ColEm-Maemo port will run on Nokia's N800, N810, and N900 internet tablets using Maemo4 (aka Chinook/Diablo) and Maemo5 (aka Fremantle). It has been specifically optimized for these tablets, making use of the touch screen and a few pieces of ARM assembler code. The ColEm-Maemo source code is also available for those who would like to learn from it.

I tried to download it and compile the Maemo-version but it depends on some missing libraries, which i wasn't able to fix. I also tried to compile the Unix-version which is included, which worked, but when running it segfaults.

Maybe this still is interesting to someone. I myself am interested in the command-line-parameters and the arm-optimized code. But up to now i am stuck. So this goes out to someone else who has better knowledge.
