Buying a Preowned Desktop?

That rig looks for hard-core gamers (harder than me, I dont have those specs...). Not for casual users. Is "Gaming" casual or non-casual?
That said... it IS your sister, and if you have the money... make her happy with that overpowered thing... preinstalled Office is a plus... just plug and work. Excel will fly!

edit: Building it new is around 400 pounds. Videocard is around 100, CPU is around 60-100, Motherboard another 40, harddisk 40, ram, and box, etc...
 
I think it goes without saying that they still have the screen (being on a desk and all)... also for the mouse and keyboard (which are also not included)... unless the flooding was very heavy.... I saw some extreme waterheight in the news last year......
Besides... the rig allows for HDMI (although the videocard is DVI only)... so you can plug it into a current TV (I still have a CRT tv...
