Hi All,

Here is a version for the caanoo of the famous Links2 web browser. USB keyboard and caanoo touch screen are supported.

This package is under GPL Copyright, read COPYING file for more information about it.

You can download it on my blog : http://zx81.zx81.free.fr/

Enjoy,

Zx

The main changes compared to your fast port version is :
- usb keyboard is really supported (even keys such as @#$%^&*()_+! etc ...)
- analog pad, and all keys of the caanoo works
- https is now working, it was required for me to connect to all free.fr hotspots (in France).
- latest original source were used with many bug fixes
- source code / authors / GNU license is provided in the package as described in the COPYING file.

yeah you use 2.3 i use 2.1 :p maybe you can take a
look to the 2.1 hacked version that can handle tabs.

Noob question here.

How do I go about loading this onto my Caanoo?

EDIT: Figured it out. lol.

So after playing around with links2 for a while, I am exceedingly confused. How do you input text? I can't find a way to bring up any sort of soft keyboard and while the usb dongle is plugged in I can't plug in a usb keyboard. Any advice?

In this version, you can only use the usb keyboard, or to browse predefined/bookmarked web site.
