Aloha from Hawai'i!

I just thought this idea would be pretty cool, since you wouldn't have so many "what are you playing?" threads and also help me find out what is currently popular on the GP32. I don't get much time to check the forums nowadays since Internet cafe time is precious. :( In this way, I can see what regular members are playing and have a quick heads up on it.

Anyway, its just an idea... :)

Just got my GP32 at noon CST. Been programming for 2 hours. Loving it!

Playing Mario Tennis and Mario Golf for GBC using Rlyeh's fGB32 emulator, very badass. Also playing Kwirk for GB occasionally. The GP32 scene is on fire, and there are just too many things to play. There is so much homebrew, improved emulators, and the new handhelds being developed. Still going strong....

Cheers!

I'm currently playing the awesome GPBlocks. 36402 is my high score, beat that!

DrMD, godammit! Why does no one mention? Shining Force 2 is such a great game!

I`m also playing the good old Tennis on fgb (no I don`t mean Mario Tennis). That game is sweet!

well, i haven't played anything in the past week because I've been too busy (mostly school). However, I plan on trying out shining force on DrMD. DrMD is so f***ing awsome!

yeah, DrMD is what I've been playing the most lately...
actually, the game is Shining Force, too :p
I never played it before now, and I have to say, it's REALLY good...
kinda like Final Fantasy and Advance Wars squished together :p

been playing it for a week...and now I'm returning to my game :D

R-Type on GpEngine (I still have my TurboExpress!).
Sonic3 on DrMD.
7 Cities of Gold on the Atari 800 emulator.
Super Mario World on OpenSNES9x.
Everything on MameGP!!!

original golf on gameboy - very cute and jap

zelda dx links awakening gbc - awesome rpg

rise of the triad - plays very well but is soooo hard

LQ kids on gpengine - just lovely

and sonic cause it still frys me that the Gp32 can play it after a year of playing!!!

sPaCe

mostly i use my gp32 for piggy tracker

after that the !reader gets a lot of use. after reading doctorow stuff i moved on to project gutenberg ... read kafka's "the trial" now it's some herman hesse :)

gpEngine is on that same 16meg smc ...
- Bomberman 94 (can't be beat)
- coryoon (hella cute horiz shooter w/ big enough gfx ... still very challenge)
- detana twin bee (cute vert shooter)
- devil's crush (addicting pinball to me despite the terrible physics)

i love threads like this, recomendations are the best way to find some lost or forgoten gems!

Lately, I've been playing:

Donkey Kong Country on OS9XGP
Whatever I end up choosing in MAME - so many to pick from!
Snow Brothers, Sonic, Wiz n Liz, Gunstar Heroes, and Sensible soccer on DrMD
Bomberman '94 on GPengine

I'd also be playing Mario Golf and Mario Tennis on fGB32, but for some reason, all the f-day preview emus just go to a blank screen when I try to pick a ROM (it scans them OK). Seems I'm alone with that problem though, or I guess other people would have mentioned it. Have tried other cards, card formats, redownloads, reinstalls, etc.
