Important info from the Kickstarter page:

we're doing our best to get it running natively, but we need Linux-ARM-compatibility from Unity to get it done – the more of you sending a mail to support@unity3d.com asking for such, the more likely it is that we'll get it in time.
Let's do this. :)

We've already tested it on the 1GHz version and it's running beautifully. Right now, we've got no chance to port it to Linux on ARM, but EvilDragon and us will keep bugging Unity about that. If rumors are true, Apple is considering a switch to ARM processors for their desktop and notebook range. This might offer new possibilites. Finally, writing a mail to support@unity3d.com, asking for Linux ARM support, might help as well.

So if the Pandora version is based in Android, what comes on the SD card?

Will the special edition Pandora be black?

All new cases are silver right now afaik.

So if youre bringing days of dawn to Pandora via Android, are you going to make sure that the 1ghz users can play it? afaik, the 3d driver in android doesn't support the chip in the 1ghz version due to different hardware then the 600mhz version?

The old CC Pandoras are not properly supported by the Android 3D drivers (due to an old SoC), both the Rebirth and 1GHz ones work fine.

It is a shame that it won't run correctly on the CC units. Did you actually test it? Or is it an assumption, based on the experience with other games using the GPU driver on android? This game seems to use mostly 2D functions, maybe maybe maybe we are lucky^^.

It looks 2D, but is actually a 3D environment with shadows, lighting and the likes. We'd probably have to rewrite it from scratch to make it work.

No one knows yet whether it works on a CC unit or not.

Only some Android games seem to be affected - some work fine.

There has not been a real test on a CC unit yet.

One more reason to convince the UNITY devs to make a version that can run on ARM without Android. :) Maybe someone can be in contact with the UNITY devs? If these guys can get an Pandora in their hands, it could be very interesting. ^^

I'd be interested in a Pandora version maybe bundled with a mac/linux version minus the swa. will that be available?

Guys, it's official now: Days of Dawn will be coming to Android and the Android-version (which will also run on the Pandora) will be made available starting at 20$. Every backer who pledges 20$ will not only get the Linux, Mac and Windows-version, but the android-version on top of it. As someone from the pandora-boards asked for, the game will feature cross-plattform savegames. Means you can play on your Pandora while on the go, save it online and conintue at home on the big screen.

Go and get it so we can succeed in this funding and make this game come true!

Here's the actual information about the port.

And this the kickstarter-campaign itself.

Nice!, I'm already donating more than $20.. but will increase it on this news.

EDIT: Maybe a Mod could put this in General chat to get a bit more attention as we Pandora users could benefit from this succeeding.
