Have any smokers out there? Have any of you tried E-Cigarettes? Just got a kit from V2 in the mail a couple days ago... so far I'm very impressed. So much so I am probably going to give up regular smoking all together and just stick with these. I have no intention on actually stopping my nicotine consumption, this seems to be a much safer and less expensive alternative.

Just seeing what other people have to say on this subject.

If like me you're properly addicted to nicotene then I would say go for it. They're cleaner, there's no burning, no smell, no staining. In the car or in public areas, there's no problem. But once in a while I get the urge to blaze something and suck up some evil toxins.

I got the Tornado Tank from (UK) TotallyWicked. it's easier to refill than the others. Cost about 60 UKP and you get 2 batteries, 2 atomisers and 5 cartridges. A bottle of liquid is extra but last flippin ages. I don't know about availability or legality in Australia, as basically it's poison.

I've heard very good things about the product, but I haven't tried it. I prefer my nicotine (extremely sparingly) in the form of chewing tobacco!

Basically poison, really? :(

Well, here's my post from the other thread.

Basically, I support any invention that makes nicotine consumption more considerate to others by not forcing them to breathe in your noxious fumes.

Same reason why I'd support walkmans over boomboxes. ;)

Sorry, I didn't bother looking at the bottom half of that pic (some people are "ass" person and some are 'a titties man', I'm more of a face person) and have now removed it after you 2 pointed it out that I accidentally posted titties.

Lol I didn't notice them at first either. But then I was laughing at her fake eyelashes and nails, and then noticed her bosom.

I tried a N-Joy some years back and wasn't that impressed. The vapor wasn't dense enough (it felt like water vapor) and the taste was pretty bad.

But as I said, that was years back and e-cigs are a pretty new technology, so much can have changed till now.

For people interested in it, I can recomend the http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/ - lots of nice people there (or at least there were back then) and they had even some doctors on it, one which made a study about the e-cig.

By the way, when you test it and get a dry throat, do not feel alarmed. Propylene glycol (the stuff that makes the vapor) is hygroscopic, e.g. it binds all the water in it's proximity. that effect is only temporary and not harmfull, and as far as I heard even those really sensitive to it get adjusted to it.

I just mention that because it's one of the more common problem for starters.

I want some. How much and where can I buy the exact ones you have?

I bought the traveler kit cause it comes with a usb passthrough, you can smoke with it pluged into the usb port! Also the case that charges it while you aren't useing it. I like the flavors, I'm a menthol person I've been smoking Kool's (highest menthol content in america I think) and the menthol in the v2cigs does a very decent job of "hitting the spot" One of the main selling points for me was the price of the cartridges, it equals out to be about $1.69 - $2.00 for a cartridge and each one has been lasting me a day+ and I was a pack a day smoker. It's hard to say 1=a pack because you can smoke as long or as short as you want and you don't really have a defined limit like you do with actual cigarettes.

if you do end up buying a starter kit, use this code and get 15% off your purchase price and I get $15 off my next purchase ;)

CODE:135813

the one I bought was $109 before useing a coupon code, comes with a manual one (push a button), a automatic (just suck), and a usb manual one, 15 cartridges of whatever flavor, the charging case, auto adapter & wall charger. I picked up another pack of 20 cartridges in addition for $36.

also if you want to get fancy they cell empty cartridges and you can fill them with your own flavors, I'm going to start reading more about this, but I found a site that sell the liquid that goes inside so you can refill your empty cartridges for even cheaper or just put your own flavors in. I bought 3 flavors menthol, cherry, and dr pepper, only cost $18 total for all 3 and it should last several weeks of refills.

check out all the flavors!
