Flash Games For Wiz

since WIZ can run flash apps, we have a huge amount of games to choose from - at least theoretically, the limited possibilities of key assignments makes some of the games impossible to use, and the CPU is not a really strong one
if you know a good flash game which runs on the WIZ, post it here!

I wish there were an overclock option for flash...

although it's not built into flash player, you can run cpuclock to change the CPU speed, and after that run the flash game
i made 3 simple shell scripts (for 300, 533 and 800 MHz) what I can execute if I need more power

or if you need it, I can create a simple graphical app to set the CPU clock

BTW if you recommend a game, a link to it would be very useful ;)

Yes! The overclock app would be wonderful! :D

The Yeti Sports game is here: http://www.blamonet.com/games/index.php?id=59
You can use this site to download the flash file: http://file2hd.com/Default.aspx

It only uses the touch screen, so it's totally playable.

EDIT: Crimson Room works! :D The text is a little difficult to read, but it can be done. http://www.2flashgames.com/f/f-617.htm
Viridian Room: http://www.kibagames.com/Game/Puzzle/Viridian_Room
White Room: http://fliiby.com/file/265257/l2vm7qo4hx.html

I have always had problems with Flash and audio on the Wiz as I think the sound has to be in ogg format, correct me if I am wrong about that though. So how many of the above have working audio?

as you wish, quick and dirty, but does the job ;)

clockset

it's ridiculously ugly, but hopefully works, please test if it useable. hopefully the games/apps don't reset the CPU speed when started (why would they?)

That's the problem. The download keeps stopping before it completes. It's supposed to be a 2MB file, but it doesn't get past 300k or so.

hm, you're right, it stops downloading after a while (1.6MB for me), maybe sth is wrong with the server

i've uploaded the package to rapidshare:

here
MD5 sum: E6F8CB1488B9E71CEC5758AFAFDFC6B8

ontopic:

the touchscreen is unusable when overclocked, so i assume it works :D but this prevents the flash games using mouse from working, so if you want faster flash, stick with the games using only the keyboard...
i will make a nicer interface with the possibility to choose any freq from 200 to 900 MHz with 33 MHz steps, i just need a free hour for that, maybe tonight....

All right. I've downloaded it, but it seems that it messes up the touch screen settings. So I can't use most flash games after launching this app since they use the touch screen.

EDIT: Ah, you know about it. All right. I'll search for some keyboard flash games.

yes, that's the already known issue with overclocking
maybe a new firmware will solve this
