I purchased a BLU unit recently for my sons birthday. He's only six so I have to put games etc on it for him.

A day after his birthday the unit started to play up. It starts up fine but when I try to start an emulator the screen goes like a PC monitor when the refresh rate is set too high.
The emulators I have are gigadriv.gxb ver 0.23 and os9xgp 0.2. (genesis and snes)
They worked fine for a day.
It has a Kingston 128mb SM card.

The unit has not been flashed, and I replaced the batteries with good new ones when I was having problems.

Anyone know what the problem is?

BTW, It did work for a bit when it was turned off overnight.
thanks

Sounds like empty batteries.
The GP32 always behaves like that before the batteries run dry.

The higher the clock speed is, the higher the chance the screen fuzzles around or the GP32 crashes, that's why most of the time the Bios (whatever you have ;)) runs fine but emulators (usually running at a higher clockrate) don't.
