Help this newbie please

I have just got my gp32 today.

It has gpcinema installed already - I have decoded a film to fit on my card and stored it in avi format but I am now unable to play it on the gp32 - which folder do i place it in ????????

u can place it anywhere, i think it comes from your ENdoding (not decoding) settings, can u post 'em?

u need to encode it in divx format, use the guide at gp32emu

i used the same rates etc as stated in the guide on gp32emu

Video :
- Codec : Divx 4.12
- Resolution : 320 x 240 or 320 x 176
- Frame rate : 10fps or below
- bitrate : 128kbps or below

Audio Specs :
- Codec : mp3 (mpeg layer 3)
- Sampling Rate : 11025Hz (11KHz)
- Stereo

Are these right

download an avi made for gpcinema from somewhere and test it

they look like they should work, id say get a tester movie off joygp in the PDS section, o and you can put it in any directory you want except maybe the root directory

Are these right

You can use more than 10 fps and a higher bitrate if u want, as gpcinema is better than moviepark and can cope if u change the clock speed. you can improve the sound sampling rate as well if u want
