I understand, perhaps incorrectly, that the Pandora ships with uboot and the OS installed on NAND and that uboot remained on NAND when I moved the OS to an SD card which I am now using for booting.

Do I need uboot on the NAND or can I move it to the SD card? If so, how?

Does it make sense to convert the NAND partition which I am no longer using into a swap partition?

No clue for uboot, but swap on the nand, will wear it down it pretty quickly.

The NAND can't be replaced if you 'wear it out'. If you're booting from SD, you can think of the on-board NAND as a built in recovery partition and ignore it until you need it.

Good point.

So I can leave Grub on NAND for the time being, I guess.
