Making Packs For Beat2x


That's usually a CASE problem.
Filenames HAVE to have the same case as in the list.
I'd suggest making them all lowercase.

it didn't work does it have something to do with the fact that i copied the songlist bxs from another pact and renamed the songs to match mine
 
I'm also guessing it needs to be in Unix/Linux format (different CR/LF).
So Windows Notepad will probably not work :)

Glad you liked my C64 pack.
I'm also thinking about making more classic gaming packs... now that packs making is easier thanks to the steps editor :D

How do I do it in Linux format I am using Ubuntu off the live cd

I think that's due to an ENTER missing at the last song in the list.

Beat2x is VERY picky ;)
 
Hey, creator of the Beat2x Beat Generator here. Hate to revive a dead topic, but I've never had a problem with the End of Line, interestingly enough.

Anyway, seeing as this is a very major issue, I'll need to fix it in the next release. I LOVE how nobody has EVER mentioned this to me. Awesomeness :p
