I have a couple of MIDI devices I'd like to connect to my laptop. I've got a Sonic SD-502 electronic drum set and an old keyboard. They both have MIDI ports on them. The problem is that my laptop doesn't have any MIDI ports; it doesn't even have a serial or parallel port, just three USB ports. Can anyone recommend a USB adapter or device I could use? I'd imagine the price to range between next to nothing to $20 CAD. I'd like something that works with Windows 7, Windows XP, as well as Linux.

My brother has a keyboard that has a USB port and I've managed to get that working with my laptop.

I'm using a whole bunch of these with my Pandora right now, and they work great on PC's too:

Anything like that (Class-compatible USB-MIDI cable) should work fine, just plug and play!

Sweet, thanks! I'm going to use it mainly for Famitracker and FL Studio, but I might use it with a Pandora (when I get one <_< )
