mobile usb modems

Tattoo usb modems appear to be based on the huwai e160 chipset. Which is supposed to be Linux compatible. However, they come right out in their support forums and say their product isn't. Short answer... maybe.

Past experience with this sort of claim dictates that they may, possibly, be saying that in order to avoid having to deal with support requests for something they have little or no experience with. I'm not saying that's the case here, but it could be - one such claim like this that I've seen came from a company that was offering rebadged, but otherwise unchanged, Huawei E220s a few years ago.

I guess the only way to know with this one is for someone to try.
