I have corsair vs256MB133A ram it has 8 S160016LLDTW-75A. Would this work to upgrade the GP32 to 32 MB
I haven't seen much discussion about this. Anyone has any advice on how this can be done?
I'm also thinking of mounting 2 white LEDs on my NLU.

You also need to change the firmware as even with the upgrade, the GP32 will not recognize it.

*AND*

Software has to be written to make use of it!

I was thinking that a 32MB upgrade would be great for GP32 MAME - lots of the games that can't/don't work are because of lack of RAM. This would be the perfect solution. You could also have one big executable just like GP2X MAME.

If it was an easy mod I would encourage other GP32 users to go for it - but I don't think it is.

You`ll find a lot more info and how to do it at robsters site here.

He also mentions a way to do a 64mb upgrade to.

Loads of other fun stuff there as well, If you are into modding the GP32.

The sandwich mod, my favourite of all times, it the definition of art B)
Are there any possiblities for a simillar upgrade for the GP2X one day?

The light mod is taking longer than expected. Might not have the time to do the memory mod.

Did you do the light mod with LEDs yet and if so how is it? Also Is there a tutorial for adding white LEDs?
