My gp2x stucks at the green loading screen.
I tried to install qtopia and read that I needed to install the
"Network(RNDIS) over USB driver & Samba Server" from
http://archive.gp2x.de/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi?0,0,0,0,8,1285
The gp2x stauck I turned it of and now I cant make it work. I ve even removed the sd card but still it stays at the green loading screen.
Is it broken what should I do?
Please help

Do you have a serial cable? Thats probably the easiest way to fix it.

Otherwise, reflashing the firmware should work.

As you can read in the file description, the TCP/IP-over-USB driver is a modified kernel based on kernel version 1.4.0. I guess the firmware you had on your gp2x before it crashed was different, probably higher. So you bricked the gp2x by combining incompatible kernel parts.

However, you must be able to restore it by reflashing the firmware. Use a full release and not an update. Use the 2.0.0 or 3.0.0 from archive.gp2x.de, because those are full releases. Unfortunately, this means that you won't be able to install the driver, because that will brick the gp2x again. But when I'm right, firmware 2.0.0 has a built-in TCP/IP-over-USB driver.
