It claims to have "the goal of maintaining the browser neutrality, OS portability, and safety that people expect from web apps" (oh, and just "some ARM support"). So I don't think they're trying for lock-in, but yeah, no idea how they intend to get it in other browsers. Are they aiming for a new standard?
