You are better off finding a convertor, 3gp is a useless format

Alot of phones record in *.3gp or have the option to so to call it usless format is a bit rash, im not saying its a good format, but its defenitly not useless.

A 3gp player would be very welcome :)

My Nokia 6233 records in .3gp, AFAIR it uses MPEG4 for video and Edit: AMR for audio. Tried to transfer it to a Sony Ericsson phone (which also uses .3gp), it couldn't play the video, only audio so apparently different phones that record .3gp can use different codecs.

In case no one creates a 3GP player, here's an easy way to convert 3GPs to DiVX AVI. I took it from this site: http://www.gromkov.com/faq/faq2004-0067.html.

How to convert .3GP movies, taken with mobile phone, into .AVI ?

Convert 3gp to avi with QuickTime Alternative and Zwei-Stein Video Editor

Download: Freeware Zwei-Stein Video Editor (3.3 MB).
Next, download and install free 3gp codecs intended for converting files: Quicktime Alternative (12 MB).

1) Launch Zwei-Stein (Click Start -> Programs -> Thugs at Bay...)
2) Press File -> Import -> Import Video Clip
3) Select type of files - "All files (*.*)"
4) Open your .3gp video clip.
5) Press File -> Export -> Video for Windows (AVI)
6) Enter filename.
7) Choose video codec. DivX, XviD or WMV9 are recommended.
8) Click OK! That's all.

NOTE: You can change several parameters before conversion
- Video Dimensions (menu Destination -> Video Format)
- Video Frequency (menu Destination -> Frames Per Second)
- Effects (menu Source -> Add Video Effect)

Well, my phone uses mini-sd cards. I could record something, then use mini-sd to sd converter to watch the clip in my 2x... Were my 2x actually working. :(
