Great work

I cannot stress enough how good these reviews are, if you have not read them and like retro games read them now.

Hi,
thanks for the kind words.
If you want to see a certain type of game reviewed, let me know. Actually answering directly on my forum might be a bit more relevant, but I'm open to suggestions.
I agree about the scores, but I imagine people will be looking for references, so I will leaves the scores in my reviews.

Great review, I really like your use of pictures as they add so much. I also like your comparison ofthe remakes.

The only thing I would add is that the ST version has some of the best music I've ever heard by Ben Daglish.

Hi,
I am honestly not much into game music, so I don't generally pay that much attention to them (actually I tend to turn the music off quickly & play my own CDs). Apart from a select few games, I have always found game music to be accessory & not really relevant... The irony is that I am very much into music.
The music in Deflektor is ok, but after a few levels, it gets on my nerves, especially with the gremlins around :)
The thing with remakes, is that it is somewhat hard to find any for some of the games I either reviewed or plan to review. At any rate, there are some truly amazing remakes that have been made. Now if only someone could start a remake of Ranarama or Spindizzy...
