Also hope no one gets the wrong idea that you're saying the not-yet-available-in-anything OMAP5 is going to be cancelled.
 
I suppose this might influence the P3, but that is wayay too far in the future to think about!
 
Less relevant since there is so much ARM out there besides/beyond TI produced chips. It's their choice if they want to be in the market. I don't see a future Pandora that would be restricted from happening based on a single chip producer - there are a lot of other more unpredictable variables involved in that.

But it's not like everyone is going to be willing to sell in the low volumes OPT would ask for. You're really operating on the special mercy of these companies.
