Non Sata Hard Drive Advice

I think Samsung drives are great - mine is not audible (and i have a rather silent PC) and quite fast. The worst drive i ever had was a IBM/Hitachi one - lt was as double as loud as my PSU and CPU fan together...
 
Just to add, i've had about 3-5 maxtor drives go bad on me over the last 10 years or so. Never had problems with any drive but maxtor.
Western Digital / Seagate are great drives.
Mine is making a clicky noise right now. And random freezes. I think I am going to cry.
