Open Zelda

Doesn't Zelda Classic have a similar degree of editability? Just querying; that might be easier to port, assuming it's open source.

there is a hack that lets you edit virtually everything about snes zelda
even events

and zelda runs very good on opensnes

i think that hack is called magic hyrule

bah
zelda is the king of rpgs

and you could create a non-zelda rpg with that hack
it would just use the LttP engine

Don't think the GP32 could cover the DirectX requirements...
This is why you shouldn't use DirectX...

Getting locked into software from companies whose sole motivation is greed means you can't produce anything anywhere else.

Sorry guys, unless someone manages to take the code and painstakingly convert it from DirectX to SDL we're not going to get any closer.

Zelda Classic unfortunately isn't Open Source... and I asked half a year ago the coders, if they would be interested in a GP32 version if I found a coder... but they wouldn't.... they don't give out the source.
